Paint Shop Pro 8 or 9
Graphic of your choice or use the one provided here
Filters: PhotoEffex - scanlines
Simple – 4 way average
Greg’s Factory Output Vol 2 – spotlight

Alrighty then – lets push some PSP buttons!

Magic Wand Settings for this tutorial:

1. Open the graphic you want to use or use the one provided here. Shift D to
Duplicate twice then close your original. Minimize one for later.

2. Set up your material pallet to your preference. I have selected a light color from the graphic #afcdd7 and dark color #728f85 the have selected a foreground/background gradient, radial – angle 45/repeats 3

3. Activate your main image & rotate 90 clockwise – all layers checked.

4. Effects – Plugins – PhotoEffex – scanlines

5. Image – Rotate 90 counterclockwise – all layers checked.

6. Image - Add Borders - 2 pixel symmetric (any color not in your graphic). Select with magic wand and flood fill with gradient.

7. Selections – Invert – Effects – 3D Effects - Cutout

8. Repeat Cutout with V (-2) / H (-2) leaving the other settings the same.

9. Deselect

10. Add a 15 pixel border BLACK. Select the black border
Effects – 3D Effects – Inner Bevel – apply once - then apply Inner Bevel again
(Apply the Inner Bevel twice)

11. Deselect

12. Add a 2 pixel border – select with magic wand and flood fill with gradient.

13. Repeat Cutout Steps 7 and 8 Deselect

14. Add a 25 pixel border, select. Change your material pallet to pattern & bring up
the graphic that you minimized earlier as your pattern. Set pattern at angle 148
scale 100. Fill the 25 pixel border with this pattern. Do NOT deselect.

15. Effects – Reflection Effects – rotating mirror Do NOT Deselect

16. Effects – Plugins – Simple – 4 way average

17. Effects – Plugins – PhotoEffex – Scanlines (same settings as before)

18. Repeat Effects – 3D Effects – Inner Bevel twice as in Step 9

19. Deselect

20. Add 2 pixel border, flood fill with gradient & Repeat Cutout Steps 7 & 8. Deselect

21. Add 15 pixel BLACK border – Select

22. Repeat Step Scanlines same settings as before. Deselect

23. Add a 2 pixel white border – select – Flood fill with gradient.

24. Repeat Cutout Steps 7 & 8

25. Deselect

26. Effects – Plugins – Greg’s Output Factory Vol II – spotlight

Resize for your project.
