Supplies:

Paint Shop Pro 8
Main Graphic or graphic of your choice
Gold Fill: D_gold fold fill
Pattern: lighthouse pattern
Filters: Mirror Rave
Screenworks
Simple

1. Open the picture you want to use or use this one. Shift D to Duplicate then close your original.

2. Set your materials pallet foreground by clicking on the pattern icon. When the window
pops up select the D_gold fold fill pattern in the edit window. Click OK. Set your
background color to black.

3. With your main graphic active go to Image – Add Borders – white - 3 pixels Select the magic wand

4. Click on the white border you have added until the ants are marching around the border. Fill the 3 pixel border with the D_gold fold pattern by right clicking inside the marching ants border. Selections – Invert – Cutout with the following settings. We will be using these settings in all the Cutout steps.

5. Select None

6. Image – Add Borders – 10 pixels white. Change your pattern to the lighthouse pattern you have minimized and flood fill the 10 pixel border with the lighthouse pattern. Do NOT deselect.

7. Go to Effects – Texture – Weave with the following settings:

8. Select None

9. Image – Add borders – 2 pixels – white. Change your materials pallet back to the
D_gold fold fill. Select the border with and fill with the D_gold fold fill.

10. Selections Invert – 3D Effects – Cutout. Select None

11. Image – Add borders – 15 pixels white – flood fill with black. Selections – Invert –
3D Effects - Cutout

Select None

12. Image – Add borders – 3 pixels – white. Fill with the gold pattern. Selections
Invert 3D Effects – Cutout. Select None.

13. Change the material pallet pattern back to the lighthouse pattern.

14. Image – Add borders – 10 pixels – white. Fill with the lighthouse pattern. Effects – textures – blinds:

Do NOT deselect

15. Effects – Plugins – Mirror Rave – Quadrant Flip

16. Effects – Plugins – Simple – Zoom Out & Flip

17. Effects – Plugins – Screenworks – Mezzo Grain – Select None

18. Go to your selection tool set at rectangle and select the interior of your main graphic and bring it to the top the same distance as you did the bottom. Do NOT deslect.

19. Effects – Distortion Effects – Punch – Strength 20

20. Effects – Distortion Effects – Wind – from right side – strength set at 1

21. Select None

22. Change your material pallet back to the lighthouse pattern. Image – Add Borders – 3 pixels white and fill with the D_gold fold pattern.

Resize your image, Adjust – Brightness & Contrast – Clarify- Strength 5.
