Supplies:
Paint Shop Pro 8
Fill Pattern : platinum glitter fill or fill of your choice.
Filters: Mehdi
- Sorting Tiles
Cybia Screenworks
– Lace Screen
Scribe
– 4 Way Mirror
Image of your choice or use this one. Also attached is the tube if you prefer to use your own background.
1. Open your image in PSP (size doesn’t matter at this point). We will
resize later if needed. Open the image you are going to use and the platinum
glitter fill. Duplicate the image using Shift D then minimize the original
image and the platinum fill. Set your Magic Wand at RGB value, Tolerance 0,
Feather 0
2. With your eyedropper select two colors from your image – one light & one dark.
3. Go to Image, Add Borders – 3 pixels, symmetric. Click on your light color in the materials pallet and change it to pattern. Select the platinum glitter fill.
4. Flood fill your 3 pixel border with the glitter fill. Selections Invert – Cutout – Select None
Note – you will be using the following settings for the cutout throughout
this tutorial
5. Image, Add Borders – 2 pixels,
symmetric. Flood fill with your dark color, Select none.
6. Image, Add Borders – 3 pixels, symmetric.
7. Flood fill your 3 pixel border with the glitter fill. Selections Invert – Cutout – Select None
8. Image, Add Borders – 10 pixels,
symmetric. Effects – Plugins – Scribe – Partical
Set at 0. Texture Effects – Blinds with the following settings. Select
none.
9. Repeat Steps 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7
10. Image – Add Border – 10 pixels symmetric. - Go to your material
pallet and change the glitter fill pattern to the original image pattern that
you have minimized at the very beginning and fill your 10 pixel border. Effects
– Mehdi – Sorting Tiles.

11. Repeat Steps 3,4,5,6 and 7.
12. Image – Add Border – 20 pixels symmetric. Select border. Using
the same original image fill pattern, fill your 20 pixel border. Do NOT deselect.
Effects – Screenworks – Lace Screen – Click OK Do NOT deselect
13. Image – Effects – Plugins – Scribe 4 Way Mirror with the following settings:

14. Cutout – Select None
15. Repeat Steps 3, 4, 5 , 6 and 7
13. Image – Add Borders –
10 pixels Fill with a light color from your graphic.
Effects – Plugins - Screenworks – Lace Screen – Click OK
– Do NOT deselect
14. Effects – Plugins –
Scribe – 4 Way Mirror with the same settings used previously. Do
NOT deselect
15. Apply the Same Cutout Settings as used previously. Select None
Resize to if you wish, save & you are done with a very unique frame.
