Autumn Frame

This tutorial was done in PSP V9 but can be done in other versions

Filter – BorderMania Frame Two

Put your tubes in folder of choice
A big Thank You to our tubers who allow us to use their tubes for our tutorials.
Please do not change tube names & credits or claim as your own.

Open the bg-text-5TTOMH jpg image in PSP. Go to File – Export – Custom Brush – name it bg-text-5TTOMH & click OK. It will now appear in your brush folder. Please do not change this file name as I didn’t create this brush. If this is your brush, please let me know so we can give you credit.

Note: these are only suggested colors for your material pallet.. If you use different tubes, use the colors from them.

Set Material Pallet –
Foreground color #623400 or medium dark color from your tube
Background color #704818 or medium color from your tube

Background set to Foreground/Background Gradient
Linear – Angle 58 – Repeats 3 – Invert CHECKED

Open New Transparent Image 600 X 450
Right Click on Flood Fill Tool & Flood Fill with Gradient
Change Foreground color to #915205

Right Click on Raster Pallet – New Raster Layer
Click on Paint Brush & Find bg-text-5TTOMH

Left Click in the middle of your image twice – this will use your lighter foreground color

Use the Deform Tool and stretch the brush image by dragging the blue nodes right then left until the brush image fills the canvas

Adjust - Sharpen

With the Mover Tool Move the brush image up – see image below for placement

Activate the GO-Barn Tube
Copy & Paste as a New Layer on your Main Image
Use the Deform Tool and stretch the barn to fill the left side of your image (look at the completed tag & use as a guide) Answer YES to popup screen.

Set the Blend Mode on the Layer Pallet at Luminance Legacy – Opacity 34

Activate the rw-autumnsarrival tube
Copy & Paste as a New Layer on your Main Image – bottom right corner
Adjust Sharpen

Activate the btautumntext tube
Copy & Paste as New Layer – position where you think it looks best
If satisfied with placement – Right Click on Layer Pallet - Merge Visible
Image – Resize 90% Bicubic All Layers Checked

Image – Add Symmetric Borders – 1 pixel color Black – Answer YES to popup screen
Image – Add Symmetric Borders – 2 pixels color #673f0f
Image – Add Symmetric Borders – 1 pixel Black
Image – Add Symmetric Borders – 10 pixels any color not in your image
Select with Magic Wand & Flood Fill with the Gradient you used previously
Effects – Texture Effects – Blinds Width 4 Opacity 44 Color Black CHECK Horizontal

Select None

Image – Add Symmetric Borders – 1 pixel color Black
Image – Add Symmetric Borders – 2 pixels color #673f0f
Image – Add Symmetric Borders – 1 pixel color Black

Image Effects – Plugins – BorderMania – Frame #2
21 24 110 130 Notch Corners UNCHECKED

Image Effects – Plugins – BorderMania – Frame #2
Changing only border width to 4 & frame width to 6

Resize your image to suit your project in 90% bicubic intervals to prevent loss of quality. Add corners and/or embellishments – your preference.
